O presidente da Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel, Flávio Santos, teve sua prisão preventiva decretada pela justiça. A decisão é do juiz federal Gabriel Borges Knapp, da 4a Vara Federal Criminal.
Flávio foi condenado a 4 anos e 3 meses de prisão em regime fechado, pelos crimes de sonegação e descaminho, que é quando alguém compra um produto de origem estrangeira, sem a documentação necessária.
O presidente se elegeu em maio em uma chapa ao lado de Rodrigo Pacheco, seu vice. A assessoria de imprensa da Mocidade informou que neste momento não vai se posicionar sobre a prisão de Flávio. Segundo a escola, a decisão da Justiça trata de uma atividade pessoal do presidente e não envolve a agremiação.
