O cantor e compositor Marquinhos de Oswaldo Cruz faz neste domingo, dia 16 de maio, a live “Samba de Preto Velho, o sabor de resistir”, a partir das 13h. Ele cantará todos os estilos de samba, em especial o tradicional “partido alto”. A live contará ainda com a participação do cantor e compositor Toninho Geraes.

O projeto “Samba de Preto Velho, o sabor de resistir” vai unir o tradicional samba de 13 de maio, dia em que são celebrados os Pretos Velhos, com o prato que tem origem na escravidão, quando os negros realizavam suas festas com restos dos senhores – sobras de carne de porco – focinho, orelha, pés, rabos, costelas – que eram conservados em sal e cozidos junto ao feijão que não serviam mais às famílias brancas. Assim, a feijoada nascia.

O #NósPeloSamba é uma ação proposta por sambistas intermediada pela Rede Carioca de Rodas de Samba, instituição que o Luna é presidente.

A campanha tem como principal campo de atuação a defesa da segurança alimentar/ combate a fome da Cadeia Produtiva das Rodas de Samba, profissionais que estão há mais de um ano sem trabalhar. A execução do projeto é feita em parceria com instituições e empresas parceiras e, temos o Mesa Brasil SESC Rio como o maior parceiro, que nos proporcionou a entrega de 1100 cestas de Hortifruti para os trabalhadores ligados ao samba.
