Em reunião no final da noite desta terça-feira, a presidente do Acadêmicos do Cubango, Patrícia Cunha e o intérprete oficial da escola, Thiago Brito chegaram a um acordo para a não manutenção do mesmo para o Carnaval 2021.

“A nação Cubanguese. Em reunião no final da noite, eu e a Presidente do Cubango, Patrícia Cunha, decidimos pela minha saída do comando do carro de som da escola.
Saio com a sensação do dever cumprido e com uma gratidão que não cabe dentro de mim. Com muita humildade e pés no chão, fizemos o maior carnaval da agremiação em 2019, conquistando todos os prêmios do carnaval.
Ao ex-presidente Rogério Belizário e a sua diretoria o meu muito obrigado pela oportunidade e confiança no meu trabalho. A nova direção, desejo toda a sorte do mundo.
Por fim, gostaria de me dirigir a comunidade e a todos os seguimentos da escola, dizendo que vocês são a alma desta nação e que se está instituição chegou onde chegou, e dedicação e garra de todos vocês!
Pra ser Cubango não se conta a três!!
