A direção do Cacique de Ramos se pronunciou sobre o cancelamento do Carnaval de Rua no Rio de Janeiro. Confira abaixo a nota na íntegra.

“O Cacique de Ramos vem a público expressar sua opinião em face do cancelamento do carnaval mais popular do país. Esta festa que acontece nas Ruas da Cidade Maravilhosa, que faz parte da tradição histórica desta instituição sexagenária.

Ubirajara Felix do Nascimento, presidente do Cacique de Ramos, no pleno exercício de suas atribuições como líder da Tribo do Samba, destaca a importância da preservação da população neste momento que insiste em perdurar sob a égide da pandemia do Coronavírus. De acordo com a prefeitura, no Rio de Janeiro não terá Carnaval de rua em 2022. E de fato, temos que seguir as orientações dos órgãos competentes na condução das decisões que levaram em conta a preocupação das autoridades de Saúde com a Covid-19.

Para Bira Presidente, que sabe a dor de perder entes queridos para está pandemia, a justificativa da prefeitura é pertinente, como disse para sua Diretoria de Ouro.

Só quem perdeu pessoas como eu perdi, amigos e parentes, saberá entender a decisão. E completou: Não é fácil, somos uma nação do carnaval de rua, somos muitos e todos nós, somos um. Um pavilhão de amor nas cores do bloco que há 6 décadas leva alegria para o povo e arrasta multidões. Mas como levar para avenida tanta gente, sem a responsabilidade que nos cabe? Vamos fazer algo, já conversei com minha Diretoria, para que produzam uma festa em nossa quadra. No Doce Refúgio, vai ter folia, vai ter alegria e, principalmente, segurança. Vamos providenciar tudo com muito cuidado, mas não vamos deixar de agraciar a família caciqueana. Na Rua ou em nossa Sede, o show sempre há de continuar!

Sendo assim, o Cacique de Ramos, que celebra seus 61 anos de resistência, reafirma a importância das decisões sobre o cancelamento do carnaval de rua em 2022, dado as justificativas apresentadas, porém sua manifestação cultural será respeitada, mesmo que as atividades carnavalescas do bloco sejam adaptadas para a realização no Templo Sagrado do Samba, na Rua Uranos, 1326, em Olaria.

Em comum acordo, a Diretoria de Ouro do Cacique de Ramos declarou: Nossa arte estará resguardada pelas frondosas Tamarineiras, guardiãs do Samba, garantindo a festa da Família Caciqueana”.
